Local Sensitivity Analysis of Steady-State Response of Rotors with Rub-Impact to Parameters of Rubbing Interfaces

Local sensitivity analysis, which describes the relative importance of specific design parameters to response systems, is crucial for investigating dominant factors in optimal design. In this paper, local analysis rotors with rub-impact rubbing interfaces carried out. The steady-state motion rotor evaluated by a harmonic balance method and coefficients every rotation speed over range are derived analytically. Two classical models, including Duffing oscillator gap model, utilized validate accuracy capability adopted methods high shown. Numerical investigations sensitivities then out, based on lumped Jeffcott finite element model respectively. Conclusions drawn that subjected problems more sensitive initial clearance than other applied friction model. With increase gap, becomes region forces shrinks until separation stator.
